OCTOBER 22, 2005 - EXERCISE

Kathy Hurry took 60 great pictures of this exercise.  This was the first exercise ever conducted by several of our instructors,  In addition, this was the first exercise that incorporated the N.C. Search and Rescue Dog Association.  Despite all of these "first,"  the exercise was a huge success.  To know more, check out the photo gallery!!     

NOVEMBER 19, 2005 - EXERCISE

Our fellow CERT Instructor, Steve Brown, wrote the scenario for CERT's first full scale exercise.  This exercise incorporated the N.C. Search and Rescue Dog Association and utilized volunteers from RD Anderson as victims.  We would like to thank both groups for their participation and continued support.  With their participation, along with Bob Grudzien as incident commander, our first full scale exercise was a huge success.  I encourage you to check out the great photos Deputy Micah Horton took.  They convey what every future CERT exercise will resemble. Thanks to all who made it possible.
